LitePro Est is a set of lighting tools that allows the user to quickly run basic calculations needed to compare luminaries, and develop approximate fixture counts for common lighting applications.

Key Components

Quick Calc: A zonal cavity calculator for indoor areas. Define rectangular room dimensions, reflectances, mounting heights, and luminaire characteristics. Quick Calc can determine estimated fixture counts & spacing, or give an average illuminance level based upon a specified number of luminaires. Compare up to three different luminaires.

Aisle Estimator: Allows the user to define the dimensions and reflectances of a typical aisle setting and choose up to three luminaires to analyze or compare. The aisle estimator can be used to determine the necessary luminaire spacing down the aisle to achieve desired illuminance levels, or can compute vertical/horizontal illuminance levels for a given luminaire spacing.

Template Generator: A useful tool for those involved in outdoor lighting design. The template generator calculates and displays illuminance contour plots for user-defined pole configurations. Typical pole configurations can be selected with one mouse click. Templates can be displayed on screen or printed to scale. Define up to three different luminaire types to analyze or compare.

No Charge To Use: There is no charge to download and use LitePro Est and its associated databases. Instructions for download and installation are given below.

Download Instructions

1. Download the LitePro Est installation program to your computer.
2. When asked to Run or Save, select Save. You may save the installation program anywhere on your computer, just make a note of the directory that you downloaded it to.
3. Close any programs running on your computer, then run the installation program EstSetup.exe. Follow the instructions on screen.
4. After installing LitePro Est you can install any or all of the optional product databases. Download the database file to your computer. You may download the file to any location on your computer. Make sure all other programs are closed, then run the downloaded file.
